The Arch Company announces new London Head Office to support sustained growth of workforce

The Arch Company has signed terms on a new, larger London Head Office at Watling House, Cannon Street, London, as part of a relocation later this summer.

The move will create a new long-term home for The Arch Company and is designed to better accommodate the business’ growing workforce, with the company more than doubling in size since inception in February 2019 to over 230 employees today.

In its first four years, The Arch Company has focused on growing its customer-facing team – doubling the number of Property Managers and trebling the number of Site Facilities Managers in London alone. The business has also grown its regional team considerably, with the appointment of eight Property Managers and ten Site Facilities Managers to cover its portfolio of arches outside of the capital. The business has also established full tech and legal compliance teams.

The Arch Company’s current office, 140 London Wall, originally known as Bastion House, is set to be demolished as part of the City of London’s development of Barbican Quarter.

Watling House provides The Arch Company with high quality, future-proof office accommodation and a net-zero carbon fitout certification, adding to the strong sustainability credentials of the building. The new location offers employees excellent transport links and swift access to the business’ portfolio of railway arches and spaces in London. The new office will include artwork and furniture made by some of The Arch Company’s small business customers.

Craig McWilliam, CEO of The Arch Company, said: “Our new HQ in London marks the ongoing expansion of The Arch Company. We have seen rapid growth of our frontline team, which has more than doubled in the past four years. The new office space will better support our business needs so that we can focus on what is truly important – delivering the best service to our customers. We look forward to bringing our people together in our new space later this summer.”
