We are proud to provide spaces to approximately 3,800 diverse and independent businesses, which make a unique and vital contribution to local communities and the UK economy.
Our approach to good estate management
When we took on management of the railway arches estate in February 2019, we made a public promise to listen to our customers and respond to their feedback.
We are taking steps to improve our service, with the aim of simplifying our processes to make it easier for our customers, freeing up their time so they can focus on running their businesses.
As well as continuing to improve our customer service standards, we have a plan, called Project 1000, to invest £200 million to bring 1,000 empty and derelict spaces into use by 2030. Our ambition is that Project 1000 will create space for 1,000 businesses, supporting approximately 5,000 jobs and adding to the estimated 25,000 people already employed in arch businesses.
We’ve promised to be clear and straightforward with our customers and work with them to provide the best possible environments to help them to succeed.
