The Arch Company welcomes John Robson as new Head of Asset Management

01/11/2021

The Arch Company is pleased to announce that John Robson will be joining the company in January 2022.  John will work alongside the newly appointed CEO, Craig McWilliam, who will be starting at the same time.

Current Managing Director, Adam Dakin, and Asset Director, Graeme Hunter, will remain involved in the business as they transition over the course of 2022 to part-time roles.

John brings extensive asset management expertise to his new role within The Arch Company’s estate of approximately 3,800 customers. The estate is predominantly comprised of small businesses based across England and Wales and supports circa 25,000 jobs. Two thirds of The Arch Company’s customers are based in London. John was previously Asset Management Director at Workspace Group, having worked at the company for over 13 years.

The Arch Company continues to be fully committed to investing in communities and bringing derelict and empty arches into use, having recently announced a £200m development plan called Project 1,000.

John Robson said:

“I am excited to be joining The Arch Company at this time, as it invests £200m into bringing a thousand derelict and empty railway arches into use over the next decade. I look forward to working closely with The Arch Company’s small business customers as they emerge from the pandemic.”

Graeme Hunter, The Arch Company Asset Director, said:

“I am delighted that John will be taking on the role of Head of Asset Management and will be joining in January alongside new CEO Craig McWilliam. Craig and John will be excellent leaders in an already strong team here at The Arch Company and will steer the company as it continues to evolve.”
