Groundwork London
This July, the Arch Company worked with one of its charitable tenants, Groundwork London, to provide match funding for 17 tenant-led community events in our railway arches. The funding of up to £2,500 per tenant paid for a series of exciting activities, designed to engage with locals and remind them of the brilliant businesses that call arches home.

Having grown up in Brixton Hill, Arcade Coffee & Co founder Shan Miah always wanted to open a business in his local area. Arcade Coffee & Co was born out of a passion project, honed from walking past the arch space almost every day for years.

Our railway arches are home to a whole host of diverse businesses and organisations that provide a wide range of activities, services and products for their local communities. Among the slightly more unexpected organisations to be found in the arches is an urban riding school and charity that changes the lives of young people in Brixton by teaching horsemanship and providing opportunities to develop key life skills.

Healthy and sustainable food business Farmstand is about to enter an exciting new phase of growth.
The company is looking to capitalise on the boom in online meal ordering and grocery delivery that has resulted from changing consumer habits during the Coronavirus pandemic. From 1 February it will launch its first-ever direct-to-consumer offering - delivering healthy, convenient and affordable meals in bulk direct to people’s doors on a carbon neutral basis.

The brewery and its neighbouring taproom, which are located in Leyton, East London, opened as restrictions were lifted and is at full production to keep the demanding beer connoisseurs of London supplied.
